Trick or Treat

Autumn is finally here!  You can always tell because Starbucks starts to carry pumpkin flavor goods and drinks…yum! I have loads of Halloween fun planned this whole month so be sure to stop by and see all the fun.  Today I’m going to share a freebie digital stamp from Chi Chi Memories.

Supplies and directions

I used a few things on this card. First the web was created using Spellbinder’s die.  After I die cut my web it was too big for my card so I cut it into pieces to fit my card size.  The sentiment stamp is by Hero Arts. The flower is from Petaloo and you get this style in multiples colors, but black seem to fit  this theme.  The spider is from PaperTrey dies and the google eye is from Michaels.  You can find the eye in the section where they carry felt. I used Echo Park paper.

Mini Tag Book or just Tags?

I try to make other projects then just cards, but cards are my one weakness.  Today, I’d like to share some tags I created during Petaloo’s Inspired week with Authentique’s Be(You)tiful collection.  It’s sorta a mini tag book, but I wasn’t sure where the project was going as I was creating.

I used Petaloo’s Darjeeling flowers and Trims on this tag and Authentique’s Be(You)tiful paper collection and stickers. I love how everything matches and the different tones of orange.

My favorite thing about Authentique’s designs are the 12×12 sheet of stickers and dies that make it so easy to use when decorating smaller projects like these.

A Mini Blossom Album

I had the pleasure of working with G45’s Bohemian Bazaar a few months ago during Petaloo’s Inspired week with G45.  I love the bright fun colors and design of this paper collection.  It matched so well and it looked like the two companies were made for each other.

My favorite thing to do is fussy cutting. I did a lot of that when using G45 papers.  I couldn’t help it.  The patterns screamed, “let me out” and therefore, a min album was created…LOL!!!

Here a few of the inside pages, but I didn’t add any photos to go along with the book.  I used the journal cards from the 12×12 sheet to make my pages of the mini album and of course more fussy cutting.  I layered Petaloo’s Darjeeling flowers over some of the paper flowers to give life to the project.  I just love how this turned out!

Catching up with Chi Chi Memories Stamps

I’ve been working with digital stamps for a few months now and I must say, it’s kinda therapeutic.  I am not a pro at coloring, but after watching a few YouTube videos I sorta got the hang of things.  One of the companies I’ve been designing for is called, Chi Chi Memories. I think this is one of my favorite cards using digital stamps.  I really loved how this turned out!

I cut up one of the digital stamps to make this tag so you can use them in different ways like I did here.  Here’s a sample of the entire set,  Isn’t it adorable!???

Taylored Expressions June SOTM

I know it’s July and not June, but I’m so behind on my June Taylored Expressions SOTM set.  It’s been a busy month with projects and deadlines and today I get to play a little.  I almost want it to rain because it’s been so hot outside, could use a little cool down…KWIM. Maybe this card will help see the rain through…LOL!

Celebrate with Chi Chi Memories

 

It’s official that summer is here with the 4th of July coming around the corner, it’s time to celebrate!  Here’s another Chi Chi Memories digi stamp set called, 4th of July.

There’s lots of layers on the set itself so it makes it fun to color.  This set is available now!

I used a silver marker to highlight and brighten some areas of the image.  If you look at the skirt on Candace, you’ll see that I used silver instead of leaving it white.
