This is the first time I ever created one of these calenders. It took awhile, but it was worth it. My hubby is going to surprise me with something fun for every day by leaving little hints in each pocket. Today was the first day of December so he made me breakfast as the first surprise.
I made little pockets for each day leading to the 25th day of December. There’s little tags that pull out so you can write a little message. My message this morning was to open the microwave to find out that hubby made me breakfast.
I used Lifestyle Crafts envelope die to make all these envelopes. The paper collection is from Authentique’s Tradition collection.
I had a few Petaloo flowers that I used on my calendar to give it some texture and some life.
I Hope you enjoyed today’s project. Have a wonderful day!
what a beautiful project!
Alice this is gorgeous! You did an awesome job!
WOW! This is a lot of work but so worth it. This is beautiful! Stampin’ Up! has a new item called the Envelope Punch Board which allows us to make over 60 different sized envelopes. I could not think of a use for the smaller envelope sizes – this is a GREAT idea. I am thinking of making some of these calendars (only a 12-day count down) as gifts. Thanks for the idea. 😉
this is amazing!!!
