Stamping with Samantha Walker

Looking for something fun to create with the kids?  This month our Design Team was challenged by creating a craft project with children and flowers. This is a super duper easy project that will take about 5 minutes to create.

What you need to create this project.

Petaloo flowers (whatever you have or this is the time to use up some of those Petaloo flowers you have laying around to make room to get more…oh boy!)

Clothes pin. The size I used 1 3/4 inches. I picked these up at Michaels

Googly Eyes. Also another Michaels purchase

Adhesive.  I used double side tape

Samantha Walker’s, What a Hoot stamp.

Pick 3 different size Petaloo flowers

Fold the flowers in half and use adhesive to keep the fold flat.

Adhere the flowers onto your stamped fussy cut image. Add googly eyes and adhere to clothes pin.

You can use these darlings to clip on a present as a topper. Add a name tag to strip of paper and clip it on as a name tag.  Use magnets to adhere to clothes pin and add to your fridge.

Owl or Bat?

Owl 2

What’s so great about digital images?  Absolutely everything, especially these adorable digital images from Chi Chi Memories.  I couldn’t decide if I wanted a bat or an owl so this is what I ended up with.   This digital is from the, “Happy Halloween” set.   It’s like having a stamp that you can alter anyway you want. I’m hooked!

Happy Halloween

I couldn’t decide if I wanted to use the bat since it took attention away from my stamp.  The owl won of course and so I cut the bat out and used his wings instead…LOL  I also used Hero Arts stamps for my background.  Tiny little bats make a great background.  The cloud dies are from PaperTrey,  The stamp word spooky is also from PaperTrey.  I used a white pen to highlight the wings to give it detail so they pop off the card. Finished the card with a bow…ta da!

Thanks for visiting and I’ll back with more Halloween fun.  See you soon!

My Little Shoebox Guest Design

Hi everybody!  Guess what?  I’ve been asked to guest design for My Little Shoebox!!!!  Super excited and honored to be asked.  I’ve had so much fun using their awesome collections.

I used, “Vintage Shop by My Little Shoebox. There’s a 12×12 die cut sheet with already die cut flowers that you just pop off and roll to your hearts content.  What a great idea, right?  There’s also ton of stickers and pattern papers that you’ll just drool over.  Hop on by My Little Shoebox blog today to see the rest of the cards I created using the Vintage Shop collection.
