Looking for something fun to create with the kids? This month our Design Team was challenged by creating a craft project with children and flowers. This is a super duper easy project that will take about 5 minutes to create.
I used these adorable stamps from Samantha Walker
You’ll need to stamp your image first and fussy cut.
What you need to create this project.
Petaloo flowers (whatever you have or this is the time to use up some of those Petaloo flowers you have laying around to make room to get more…oh boy!)
Clothes pin. The size I used 1 3/4 inches. I picked these up at Michaels
Googly Eyes. Also another Michaels purchase
Adhesive. I used double side tape
Samantha Walker’s, What a Hoot stamp.
Pick 3 different size Petaloo flowers
Fold the flowers in half and use adhesive to keep the fold flat.
Adhere the flowers onto your stamped fussy cut image. Add googly eyes and adhere to clothes pin.
You can use these darlings to clip on a present as a topper. Add a name tag to strip of paper and clip it on as a name tag. Use magnets to adhere to clothes pin and add to your fridge.
Hope you enjoyed today’s fun tutorial and have a wonderful day!
Anna Griffin’s Madison paper collection is perfect for your Fourth of July projects. This collection is jammed packed with papers, die cuts and stickers.
I used that large star burst die to create one of the cards I made for an exploding firework effect. Look at all these goodies!!
Check out her video on HSN to get a detail look at all her samples.
I just love Anna’s die cut stickers. Her stickers are 3 dimensional so they pop off your project with ease. Beautifully crafted so your projects look store bought.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful 4th of July!
During our Blog Hop with Quick Quotes we used Petaloo’s NEW Burlap Blossoms and Quick Quotes NEW Serendipity paper collection. I made this Father’s Day frame I bought at Michaels. I love the happy soft colors and the designs from both companies.
I mixed the flowers with Petaloo’s Botanicas to add some different blooms. The flowers come with these beautiful leaves that you can mix in…so pretty!
I’m not a fan of purple, but I thought this shade would go well with this paper collection from Quick Quotes.
I used Quick Quotes Powder Puff Chalk Ink and a paint brush to outline the frame. Now that I look at it, i should of made the line thicker. I also did some faux stitching around the frame as well to highlight using a black marker. The ink pads were really nice to work with and I may have to buy some now that I got the chance to play with it. A must have!!!!!
I glued paper around the entire frame and used a file to finish the edges. Oops, I missed a piece…LOL. I’m sure you cant see my mistake, but I can be a little OCD.
Just a few flowers wrapped on the edges give this frame a bit of elegance and style. Hopefully this will inspire you to make something for that special DAD or Man in your life. Have a wonderful Father’s Day weekend everyone!

I rolled up the eyelet border stickers and inked them. They make beautiful flowers, don’t you think? Unfortunately these are SOLD OUT on HSN,but I’m sharing in case you haven’t discovered Anna’s beautiful designs. Be sure to look for Anna Griffin on HSN in July for her NEW products showcase.
Thanks for visiting and I’ll be back with more cards to share.
I love stamps and Anna Griffin has some really great sets that I’m sure you all have seen. These stamps are unfortunately SOLD OUT on HSN, but I”m sharing today because she’s back on HSN for her July show and you don’t want to miss out on the new surprises. There’s a a great video on HSN with Anna using this stamp system and you’ll love it.

I love the different looks you achieve from the stamps. You can layer them by stamping several times, then layering them one on top of the other for a wreath and dimensional look. I just cut two circles, one smaller than the other and then I fussy cut the stamp image so it hangs off slightly.
Thanks for visiting and have a great day!
I’ve been playing with stamps again and this time I have something new for you, a video! Sit back and enjoy this quick walk through on how I created this tag.
