Card Exchange #1

Posted by: alicecarman on: May 30, 2009

Recently I joined a card exchange with a group of ladies from Scrapbook Deals 4 U and this is one of many cards that will be created in the months to come.  I really liked how this turned out, I’m sure I could add more detail to it, but I didn’t have any time.  Enjoy…

Card Keeper Detail Photos

Posted by: alicecarman on: May 30, 2009

I am a visual person like most scrapbookers.   Instead of writing out detail instructions I decided to post pictures of the entire book.  If you find that you do need instructions I would be more than happy to come and meet you for a one on one session at no cost to you.  You can contact me via email @ alicecarman.socal.rr.com.  Again, thank you for coming out today and I hope you enjoyed my class.

Card Keeper Class

Posted by: alicecarman on: May 7, 2009

Hi everyone, it’s been a long time since I last posted anything. I don’t know what’s wrong with me lately? I can’t seem to get projects done in a timely manner or get projects put together quick enough to post. Hopefully this next class will put me in a better place with my creative mojo. Trust me, I have tried everything from rubbing a Buddha to wishing on a star…I know it’s pathetic! I hope you can forgive my absence and look forward to creating again and sharing with you all.

So here’s the new class I have been working on. It’s a 9X9 12 pocket book you can use to hold card making creations to pictures or tags, whatever you want! I used the NEW Bo Bunny Press called Abbey. This class is scheduled for May 30th 2009 at the Scrapbook Garden.

Just Because…I love cards!

Creative Imaginations Designs

Posted by: alicecarman on: February 3, 2009

This must be my lucky year!  I got a chance to create some designs for Creative Imaginations this year.  My designs were displayed in their booth at CHA and I was so excited to do it!  Here’s some pictures of what I did using their lines.

CHA 2009

Posted by: alicecarman on: February 3, 2009

My first time at CHA and boy was it a blast!  Lots of incredible new lines and wow the OWLS are out!  I think I saw an owl of some sort in every booth.  I certainly have ADD when it comes to Owls because I was owl crazy.  I didn’t take a lot of pictures because I was in a scrapbooker paradise state.  Here’s a little of  what I have to share.

Linda, Ly and I at the Provo Craft both taking a picture with the Cuttlebug guy.  We love the cuttlebug, yes we do!

Here’s a picture of Ly and her IDOL Heidi Swapp!  You go girl, I know how much you love her!  Look at that smile on Ly’s face, she is so HAPPY.  I wanted to take a picture of my all time favorite idol, but she wasn’t at CHA this year, boo hoo!

Here’s a new OWL line from KAISER CRAFT, a scrapbook company from Australia!  I met the folks from Kaiser Craft at the show, what nice people!  I love the down under!

Here’s a sample of what you could make using the new OWL line from Kaiser Craft, isn’t this too cute!  I wish I thought of it.  I’m thinking I want to use this paper to create an Owl mini book, any takers?

Another card?

Posted by: alicecarman on: January 10, 2009

I think I might use this in the next card class, be sure to check back in Feb…who knows?

I used Valentine paper by My Mind’s Eye from last year, I tend to over buy when I prepare for class and so this is the what I’ve come up.  It doesn’t have to be used for Valentine, you can change the sentiments as you desire.  Just a thought, hope you enjoy it!
