Day 6 CHA Bella Blvd Peeks!

Sneak Peek Week continues with a second full week of our new product reveals! We’ve created so much fun stuff that we need another entire week to show it all to you! Remember, if you’re loving what you’re seeing, make sure and let your LSS know, and ask them to order Bella for their stores!

It’s colorful, full of class & and just plain pretty. The Sophisticates collection has quickly become one of the industry’s favorite everyday product collections. With something beautiful for everyday, Sophisticates classis Sprinkles & Lace patterns have THREE new colors to their family. Check out the FIVE new Sophisticates chipboard elements, including trees and clouds, family words & more.

The Sophisticates collection is so much fun, and with even more new colors added to the collection it will match anything! I wanted to showcase all of the colors in this line so I created a chevron stripe pattern and then used some of the cute new chipboard that you’ll love so much! The new chipboard is so versatile and cute and adds so much fun to pages, cards and anything else you might come up with.

Day 5 CHA Bella Blvd Peeks

Thanks for joining us on a special Edition of the blog, as we continue our Sneak Peek Week. So far, we have revealed a few new collections, along with buttons and designer tapes! We have more papers, stickers, and chipboard to show you in the next week, along with even more brand new embellishments. But today, we’re showing you something different. Stamps!

Along with Unity Stamp Company, we are introducing 9 new Itty Bitty stamps to match with our newest paper collections: Baby Boy, Baby Girl, We’re Expecting and Sunshine & Happiness. Each rubber stamp includes a great coordinating card sentiment for your greetings. Along with these new stamps comes a new announcement from both Bella Blvd and Unity Stamp Company. 

These newest Unity stamps will now be available for order directly from Bella Blvd for retailers and distributors. That means when we ship your product order, the stamps will be included as well! In efforts to be more efficient we are happy to be stocking Unity stamps in our warehouse for order fulfillment. And, in an effort to please scrapbookers worldwide, Unity Stamp Company will be selling these stamps individually on the Unity website for consumers also! Now you have the best of both worlds. If you can’t find the Unity stamps at your LSS, be sure to visit Unity Stamp Company and order them online.

“100% Boy” card

For today’s card I am using Bella Blvd/Unity stamp called, It’s a boy! This is such darling itty bitty stamp.  I stamped my image onto a few pattern papers using Bella Blvd’s Baby Boy line and cut them out instead of coloring them. You’ll notice that my stamp image is missing something. Can you guess?

I inked up my stamp and then I cut a  small circle to cover my sentiment.  Next I stamped the image on to paper and you’ll notice the sentiment part of the stamp did not show.  This process is called, Masking.  You can do this with any of the Bella Blvd/Unity stamps to change it up.  Isn’t this cool?

“A Little Birdie Told Me” card

Here’s another great stamp by Bella Blvd/ Unity called, Birdie Told Me. This is also another itty bitty stamp I got to play with today that you’ll want to get to match the Baby Boy line form Bella Blvd.

On this card I did a little paper piecing. Paper piecing is when you stamp an image on a few different patterns and cut out what you like and piece it together to create an image. You’ll notice I cut out the wing and the sack using different paper from the Baby Boy line and pop dot them on to my card. So what do you think? Great use of the stamping and no coloring needed.

Day 4 CHA Bella Blvd Peeks

 It’s a wonderful day around here as our crates are officially on their way to California! We leave in less than a week and we still have so much to show you and reveal on the blog! Have you loved what you’ve seen so far??? Did you tell your favorite LSS about the new Bella goodies?

Well, today I wanted to share with you my favorite (I think) embellishment that we are releasing at CHA.

You’ve seen them popping up everwhere! Washi and patterend tapes are all the rage in scrapbooking and paper crafting! Now you can match your favorite colors & products with these trendy Designer Tapes by Bella Blvd! Availale in 8 different styles and 2 different widths, these Designer Tapes include versatile designs like sweet polkadots, hip chevron and more!

So I’m not going to lie when I say, “OMG they are so cute, packaged these petite little clear boxes and the cores are printed with ‘Bella Blvd’ on the inside!” They just make me so super duper happy I can’t stand it!

Here’s the eight different patterns, all matching Bella’s signature bright & happy color palette! So these four styles are .25″ in width. Each roll has 30 feet of tape!!

We are so excited about our newest embellishment, Flags! Flags are such a big trend in scrapbooking right now, and Stephanie has come up with an entire collection of these adorable flags! Each package contains 3 flags, with pearl topped stick pins. The flags themselves are 1.25″ wide, and 5/8″ tall, with 1.5″ stick pins. You will see quite a few of them revealed with our new collections, and then we will have an entire day where we will reveal the entire collection.

Mucho Bella Cards

It’s a brand new year so I was in the mood to make a happy card today. Don’t you just love the bright happy colors in the Hello Beautiful collection? I love to mix blue, red and green together. It’s the perfect blend!

I don’t have any kids of my own, but I am an Auntie to four different nephews. It’s a busy household, but only when I borrow them or if they come and visit while their Mommy and Daddies go out for date night. Today’s cards were designed for the many little dudes in my family. Someday it will be my turn to have little ones, but not today … tee hee!

Love and Happiness

Happy New Year!  What better way to start a new year, but with messages of love and thanks.  Today’s cards are all designed using Marah Johnson’s Monarch collection.

My first card was created using Monarch Cherish Varnish Paper and Twinking H2O’s Basic RainbowPack.

Using the Twinkling H2O pack I used ginger peach  and Mallard from the color set. Then I used  Monarch Cherish Varnish Paper which I painted on.  I gave it a slight difference when I painted the patttern since I was using the same paper.  What do you think?

Twinkling H2O Basic Rainbow

Here’s a couple of choices for Valentine’s.  Instead of using paper that’s themed, why not use colors that always carry the same messages of love.

I used Monarch Trefoil Foil paper here and decided not to paint it, but to leave it as is.  The Monarch line also carries stickers, Monarch Happenings Chipboard 5×12.  I used these chipboard letters to add sentiments for my card.

I used Twinkling H2O Basic Rainbow, hot cinnamon.  You’ll find this color in the the Twinkling H2o Basic Rainbow Petite set.

My last card was also made with the Monarch collection.

I really want this last card to stand out so I used the Radiant Rain Shimmering Mist, Pearl Gold.  Not sure if you can tell in the photo how shimmering it is, but it really comes up well against a dark color cardstock.

Now that we got some shimmer on the card I wanted to match it up with some Marah Johnson’s Foil Embossed Stickers.  The Stickers come in gold and silver.  Don’t you just love how the gold pops off the card?

It’s Thursday, let’s make some cards!

I know that Christmas is over, but I know some of us are still getting our cards out to family and friends. Or maybe you get together to celebrate after the actual holiday, so you still have time to make some cards. If so, here are a few ideas. I used Bella Blvd’s Christmas Wishes collection to design this card and a few stickers to tie it all together using the Christmas Wishes Alpha+Bits.

Here’s another way to bring some Christmas joy to someone. Using Bella Blvd’s Christmas Wishes and December Details collection I created this card. I mixed the lines again and because the color tones are so close I was able to tie everything together.
