Paint it Papers and Luminarte

It’s another card making day here on Cards by Alice.

Today I am using Creative Imaginations Paint IT papers and Luminarte.  The Paint IT paper is new to Creative Imaginations and is super duper fun to use and easy too!  It may look complicated, but it’s just  blending fun colors together and having fun.

I started out using an embossing folder to create a background.  Then I used  Twinkling H2O’s to color and blend the back ground to match the theme.  Next, I die cut using Creative Imaginations Love Blooms and Nostalgia papers to create my center.  The Love Blooms and Nostalgia lines both come with die shapes that also can be colored using any of the Creative Imaginations Luminarte products.  Once everything was adhered to my liking I finished by misting it with some Gold Pearl Luminarte.

Bella Blvd & Unity Stamps: Inspiration & Giveaway Day

Here’s another Bella Blvd & Unity Stamps Inspiration Day! We were asked to  choose a few of our co-branded stamps to highlight today, along with the new Baby Boy and Baby Girl collections.

“A Little Birdie Told Me” card, by Alice Carman.

As a card maker I try to think outside of the box when using my stamps by finding different ways to stamp. Today my challenge is to use the calendar month stamp alongside another stamp. My theme is baby and of course I used our new Baby Girl collection. I thought stamping another image onto a stamped image is a little different from anything I’ve ever done. What do you think? Does it work? I also paper pieced my birdie stamp as well to give it some color without having to color it.

“New Set Of Wheels” card, by Alice Carman.

On this card I used the calendar month stamp and turned it into a fence on my peep card. I cut out a few of the grid boxes from the calendar stamp and lined it up to make a fence. I also paper pieced the New Set of Wheels stamp and stamped directly onto the Sunshine Happiness Play Date pattern paper to make the stamp pop.

NEW Love Blooms!

Here’s a peek at this year’s NEW Creative Imaginations Love Blooms collection.

This collection comes with six embossed papers, die shapes and brads.  Everything from paper to brands can be colored with Creative Imaginations Luminarte products.

I love the patterns in this collection then again the patterns really help make the color pop when I colored them.  You can die cut using any of your favorite dies so you can layer and pop dot them against one another.  Lots to do, right?

Inspiration Unlimited Week: Unity Stamps

I colored my stamp and used a few papers from the different Bella Blvd collections to enhance my card. Don’t you just love the new crochet flowers and the buttons? The Sophisticates letter stickers are a must when crafting, especially the new Sophisticates alphabets.

I love that you get 4 different fonts and styles. Don’t forget Bella Blvd/Unity stamps not only comes with an image stamp, but you also get a sentiment which can be used all different ways. I only stamped the word, “girl” from the sentiment stamp, so you can break up the sentiment stamp or use the whole thing.

Day 6 CHA Bella Blvd Peeks!

Day 5 CHA Bella Blvd Peeks

These newest Unity stamps will now be available for order directly from Bella Blvd for retailers and distributors. That means when we ship your product order, the stamps will be included as well! In efforts to be more efficient we are happy to be stocking Unity stamps in our warehouse for order fulfillment. “100% Boy” card

For today’s card I am using Bella Blvd/Unity stamp called, It’s a boy! This is such darling itty bitty stamp.  I stamped my image onto a few pattern papers using Bella Blvd’s Baby Boy line and cut them out instead of coloring them. You’ll notice that my stamp image is missing something. Can you guess?

I inked up my stamp and then I cut a  small circle to cover my sentiment.  Next I stamped the image on to paper and you’ll notice the sentiment part of the stamp did not show.  This process is called, Masking.  You can do this with any of the Bella Blvd/Unity stamps to change it up.  Isn’t this cool?

“A Little Birdie Told Me” card

Here’s another great stamp by Bella Blvd/ Unity called, Birdie Told Me. This is also another itty bitty stamp I got to play with today that you’ll want to get to match the Baby Boy line form Bella Blvd.

On this card I did a little paper piecing. Paper piecing is when you stamp an image on a few different patterns and cut out what you like and piece it together to create an image. You’ll notice I cut out the wing and the sack using different paper from the Baby Boy line and pop dot them on to my card. So what do you think? Great use of the stamping and no coloring needed.

Day 4 CHA Bella Blvd Peeks
