Have you seen Anna Griffin’s Holiday paper from HSN? These papers come in foil, embossed and the patterns are beautiful. I love how the papers can be mixed together. I cut out some squares and folded them in to a triangle and trimmed the edges with decorative scissors to create the tree. I also used Anna Griffin’s border strips in between the tree layers for that extra touch.
There are 48 different patterns in Anna Griffin’s Classic Christmas set.
I love paper folding so this collection was perfect for folding techniques. I cut out strips and folded them into a circle over another circle layer.
I cut out strips of paper from a few patterns and weaved them together for this card. Then I added a few embellishments also from Anna Griffin’s collection. If you have a minute check out the rest of Anna Griffin’s products.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!
This is the first time I ever created one of these calenders. It took awhile, but it was worth it. My hubby is going to surprise me with something fun for every day by leaving little hints in each pocket. Today was the first day of December so he made me breakfast as the first surprise.
I made little pockets for each day leading to the 25th day of December. There’s little tags that pull out so you can write a little message. My message this morning was to open the microwave to find out that hubby made me breakfast.
I used Lifestyle Crafts envelope die to make all these envelopes. The paper collection is from Authentique’s Tradition collection.
I had a few Petaloo flowers that I used on my calendar to give it some texture and some life.
I Hope you enjoyed today’s project. Have a wonderful day!
Do you love tags, but not sure how else to use them in your crafting? Here’s an idea to make this simple yet elegant mini tag book.
Here’s what you’ll need to create this:
Websters Pages NEW collection, “Family Traditions” collection.
Petaloo Texture flowers, Botanica flowers and Trims
PaperTrey Dies: Thankful and scallop border
May Arts Ribbons
Chestnut Roan Chalk Ink
Darice Embossing folder
The Family Traditions collections includes mini file folders , perfect size for the tags I used. I adhered the file folder to the back of the front cover of my tag book. I used the loose tags for my pictures for one side and a journal on the back side. You can add ribbon and flowers like I did here.
Thanks again for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed today’s mini tag book.
Happy Halloween. Just a quick post today as I’m sure you all are super busy getting the kiddos off to school or planning a fun and spooky night. Today, I’d like to share a tag wreath I created using tags.
I used two tag sizes and adhered them over each other in a circular shape for my base. I added trim from Petaloo’s Trim collection at the ends of each tag.
Next I layered flowers from Petaloo’s textured collection in greys, blacks and orange. I finished the wreath using a black sheer ribbon and Petaloo’s Pumpkin Dazzlers. I think it took me about 30 minutes to put this all together. Makes a great last minute Halloween decoration or a gift. You can make this for any holiday or just for fun using all kids of colors or themes. Also, you can switch out the flowers or add more. The possibilities are endless. Hope you enjoyed today’s last-minute idea.
Thanks for coming by! Have a great Halloween and safe night!

Boo-tiful Cameos Clear Stamp
Celebration Labels One & Bracket Border Clear Stamp
I used the skull stamp from the “Boo-tiful Cameos stamp set and stamped the skulls a few times to drape my card. The Border trim is from the Celebration Labels One & Bracket Border. I stamped the border and fussy cut it to add some texture on the end of the card. It pops off the card which is what I wanted. I also used Spellbinders Web die and cut the die shape into pieces since the web was bigger then my card. The branches are also some Spellbinders and the frame of the card.
Thanks for visiting. I’ll be back!
Here’s another round of cards I created using Anna Griffin’s Spooktacular. The Spooktacular collection viewed on HSN has lots of pieces so you can make lots of different projects.
The die pieces and stickers make card making easy to create with. For those of you not into scary Halloween collections, this collection is whimsical and cute. The papers, dies and stickers have a vintage appeal so you’ll enjoy them.
Lots of pieces in this collection so get yours today on HSN!
Thanks for visiting and see you soon!
I know this is an older publication of Cards Magazine, but I’m just now getting the information to post about this. Recently, I submitted a card to Cards Magazine and they picked my card for their July issue. I was really glad to hear it and I wanted to share the exciting news.
Here’s the publication right from the pages of Cards Magazine. It’s weird seeing my card published since I’ve been a fan of their magazine for such a long time…who knew?
Supplies: Paper and Stickers are from Bella Blvd. Ribbon by Maya Road. Die cuts are from Spellbinders and My Favorite Things .
Thanks for stopping by and sharing in the fun and news.
