2015 CHA NEW Release from Eyelet Outlet

NEW from Eyelet Outlet….Bandage Brads!  These are super duper cute for that extra touch you need when paper crafting.  These tiny brads are quick and easy to adhere.  Use a paper piercer to create the hole, then slip the brad thru and spread the brad legs to adhere to card.  Easy, right?

Mixing Brads to make a Card

I look forward to this time every year because it’s card making season. It’s so fun to sit among friends and make some holiday cheer. Here’s a few cards made with Eyelet Outlet brads.

I used lots of brad lights to set the attention bar and I think I used every color you get in a set.

For my next card I wanted to share how you can mix up different brads together to make a card.  I used a few holiday brads from Eyelet Outlet and I think you’ll find it easy to create.

Batastic by Anna Griffin

Alice Autumn Wreath 3

If you’re a fan of Anna Griffin like I am, you are going to love this NEW stamp set.  It’s available now on HSN so get your set before they run out!

I love that it comes with a guide so it makes it easier to create wreaths.  Click HERE to go to HSN to see the video how to make the wreath and to see Anna Griffin.

Lots of different uses I got out of these stamps.  I made a wreath, used it as a background  and also made border strips.  For a example of borders I created look at the first card I made on this post.

Alice Autumn Wreath 1

This is the card I created with the stamps.  I made a wreath and stamped partial spider wreaths for the background.

Alice Autumn Wreath 4

For this card I stamped the entire background to create my own paper.

Thanks for dropping by and I’ll be back with more from Anna Griffin!

Different uses for Brads and Bling

My favorite time of year is about to start and I couldn’t be any more excited. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and I wanted to share a fun idea with you.  Here’s a simple project to create with the kids by decorating an already made wood coffin I found at a local craft store.

First use the wooden box as a template to cut out inserts for the coffin.  You will need one for the inside bottom of the coffin and another for the inside top of the coffin.  I used red card stock and stamped it with spider webs.  Then I used the NEW Mini Spider brads to finish the webbing I stamped.  Next, I used felt to line the inside bottom of the coffin and inked the edges black to give it a more custom look.

I also used 21 mm Red Jewel Brads to line the outside of the coffinNext, Line the top rim with Black Pearl strips. The pearls are on a strip which makes it easier to adhere on to your project.  After all is added your done!

For my next project I designed this card using flowers and jewel bling.

I used Paper Flowers which I folded in half and added the star burst bling from the bulk bling pack.  For the center I used a black pearl to finish the detail of the flower.

Hope you enjoyed the two different projects today and I’ll be back with more fun and innovative ways to design with brads and bling.

Have a great day!

Anna Griffin Doily Stamps

I love stamps and Anna Griffin has some really great sets that I’m sure you all have seen.  These stamps are unfortunately SOLD OUT on HSN, but I”m sharing today because she’s back on HSN for her July show and you don’t want to miss out on the new surprises.  There’s a a great video on HSN with Anna using this stamp system and you’ll love it.

I love the different looks you achieve from the stamps.  You can layer them by stamping several times, then layering them one on top of the other for a wreath and dimensional look.  I just cut two circles, one smaller than the other and then I fussy cut the stamp image so it hangs off slightly.

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!
