A New Passion for Stamps.

I’ve been stamping and inking and coloring my little heart out lately.  It’s a new hobby for me and I really love it!  There’s so many ways to use stamps.  I went a little crazy this week and here’s a little sample of what I did.

I love the way this turned out and I couldn’t be happier with my novice coloring…lol.  These Hero Arts stamps really stamp nicely.  You get an even smooth finish .

Have you taken a look at Petaloo lately? If you haven’t you must!!!!!  There’s so many NEW goodies from their release at Summer CHA 2012.  I love their choice of colors and how they match most of the leading paper lines out there.  It makes crafting easy when you have great product to work with.

Color Me Crazy – Chipboard – Butterflies

Of course I can’t live with dies so here’s the set I used from Spellbinders.

  1. Gorgeous card, Alice. Love the green ribbon and how you sparkled up the butterfly. Welcome to the world of stamps! There is nothing quite like getting a little inky on your projects. It’s one of my favourite things to do. Tracy:)

    1. It’s new in the sense that I didn’t really use them in my card making. Working with paper manufactures doesn’t give me the chance because not a lot of them make stamps. Now that I’m designing for Scrap-Mart I’m able to play with more product.

  2. Love this card! The flower is beautiful and I love how you used the ruler – great idea! And the chipboard butterflies are gorgeous! Looking forward to seeing you in person next week – we’ll have to figure out how to meet up!

  3. You are so creative, I never knew you can do that with stamps! I LOVE them but they are so pricey. 😦 I’ve recently been embossing a lot, and I love it!

    1. I rarely use them because I’ve been on paper manufacture teams for some time and they don’t normally use stamps. I guess I’m new because I don’t use them in cards. I have a new outlook on them…love them! Thanks for visiting Nina…you’re stuff is very cute!
