You may have seen these at your local craft store, but you don’t have a clue what to do with them? Today, I’d like to share a few ideas.

You can use the glass flowers as a center piece or as a center piece on another line of Petaloo flowers. The best way to adhere the glass flower is to use fabric glue, hot glue or high tacky glue. You can also use them with our Color Me Crazy flowers as a center and spray them with your favorite color sprays.  You’ll get loads of color and texture.

We carry them in five different colors (black, white, Aqua, Rose and Orange). The stem of the flower is flexible so you can bend it.

Working outside of my element.

Lately I’ve been addicted to making things with shadow boxes or just creating outside of my happy world of card making.  I purchased this cute little shadow box house from Maya Road and I just love it! It’s a perfect medium size project to create with.

I applied some white ink chalk to the flower to add that vintage touch.

The other Petaloo product that I just adore are the Color Me Crazy Chipboard shapes.  These chipboard shapes are super thick and durable.  I used Viva Pearl Pens to decorate the details on the chipboard to make them pop.

NEW Spellbinders!!!

I’m sure you have seen all he NEW Spellbinder die releases from CHA Summer 2012, but if you didn’t you are in luck today! Scrap-Mart.com has the new dies available now. Use your Scrap-Mart.com coupon code, “Dog days” to get 40% off.

I used Spellbinders Cherry Blossoms die and Decorative Labels One die to create my card.

Spellbinders Cherry Blossom

Spellbinder Decorative Labels One

I created the window using several Spellbinder dies.  First thing i did was use the decorative die cut on a piece of cardstock.  After I have my cardstock cut out I layered the next die on top to create a window.  Be sure that this whole piece is also layered over your card base so that it lines up when you adhere it to the card.

This is what I mean by layering your dies to create a window and frame.

Have a great day and don’t forget to use Scrap-Mart.com for all your crafty needs.

Petaloo and Tim Holtz combo Take 2

I was so inspired with all the awesome flowers by Petaloo I wanted to make a card so you can see what other projects you can create.

I love that Petaloo’s flowers go so well with  Tim Holtz products.  It just shows how versatile Petaloo’s flowers are.  There is  something for every style.

The other great thing about Petaloo’s flowers is how they know what crafters like.  Petaloo packages their flowers in color schemes.  If you love a certain color you can have more of it in one bag.  How cool is that????

Here’s what I used.

Darjeeling – Frosted Roses x 4 Sm. – Cottage Blue

Darjeeling – Mini Pearl Daisies x 40 – Cottage Blue

Darjeeling – Butterflies x 9 – Cottage Blue

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!  Can’t wait to see what you make so feel free to share your projects with me anytime.  You never know what I might do.  I may give you goodies…hint hint.
