Lately I’ve been using a lot of dies on my blog and so far the favorite is Spellbinders. Today I’d like to share a few techniques on how I use different elements and left over scraps along with Spellbinders dies.
For this card, I used Spellbinder Foliage Two for my leaves. You can find this fabulous die at Scrap-Mart.com.
I wanted the leaves to balance the flower so I punched out 4 leaves and folded the top set of leaves. Tucking them under the flower also gives it a layering look.
I love using letter stickers when I don’t have a stamp that says exactly what I want. You can play with the stickers by stacking different sizes and shapes on one another to give it more of a graphic look. You can find stickers and pattern papers at Scrap-Mart.com.

Love the mix of stickers and layered leaves. Lovely card!
Thanks Karen! It’s fun to change it up a bit.
What a fun card. Love the textures and bright colors. Jazz says two paws up!
Ahh..tell Jazz hello and huggies from me.
Fabulous!!!! Love your phrase work!
It’s my favorite thing to do.
Love this card, Alice! The sentiment is so sweet and I love the dp you used!
Thanks Shelly! I have some goodies to give you when i come to MN.
Awww, you’re so sweet! Great minds think alike because I have something for you too.
Beautiful colours in the card Alice and love the 3D effect.
I love 3D too, but I doubt I can mail this off. I may have to put it in something else so it doesn’t get squish.
Alice ~ I feel, you brought this card to life:) I love the look and feel that you brought to this card… What a wonderful job:)
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment Kris. Have a great day!
