I love holidays and Fourth of July is one my favorite holidays to decorate or craft for. Who doesn’t love happy bright colors? This is going to be another weekly craft project I will be sharing here on my blog.
This is the start of a panel from a mini album that I am in the process of making for Scrap-Mart.com. I’m not sure if this is going to be a cover for the album yet since I’m still in the creating phase, but if you check back each week you’ll see this grow into something.
I used Tim Holtz’s Americana Silhouettes Stamp set from Stamper Anonymous for my image. Don’t you just love this? This set is so perfect for any type of vintage look or rustic and of course simple and clean. I think my book includes all those styles so you can see how well they mix together.
I left the sides open on this because I’m still debating how I want to bind this. Any suggestions? I made this envelope pop out using Lifestyle Crafts’s Quickutz Basic Envelope set. This die is perfect for making pop out photos. You could also make a hide away journaling area too! I just love how this turned out and the fact that I can fold this back under the flap.

Before you go I have some news to share with you. Since my guest dt spot last month, I was asked to join Scrap-Mart.com’s Design Team for the reaming year. How cool is that!
As always Scrap-Mart.com has the best prices on your everyday craft needs. Don’t forget July’s 40% coupon code is, “Baseball”.

Very cool and creative 4th of July card! Love the pull-down Uncle Sam! Congratulations on your DT position with Scrap-Mart! Very cool! I’m not at all surprised since you did an amazing job for them this month! Enjoy!
Thank you Kathy! Congratulations on your guest dt spot. I can’t wait to see what you come up with.
Love it Alice! I have this envelope set and you have inspired me to use it to make a mini! So fun!
Thanks Katie! Love to see what you make.
How cool is this? I don’t have this die set yet, but I love how you used it!
Thank Shelly! I need to store them in a nice organized box like the one you mentioned on your blog.
Oh Miss Alice, Your stuff is always so much fun. You have a great eye for color. Maybe you could use hemp or some type of rustic cording to go with the wood. I know you will come up with something fabulous you always do. Thanks for the kind comments on my blog. I have been swamped and haven’t replied.
Hope you have a great 4th.
Wendy and Jazz
Thanks Wendy, that’s so sweet of you to say. I like the idea of the cording, I may do that. I appreciate you taking the time to comment. Love seeing all your projects too. You inspire people and me. Have a great 4th too and kiss that Jazz for me. So adorable that Jazz!

Love that stamp set – I shouldn’t be surprised, I suppose, that I’ve not seen it on sale in the UK
If I did it would be at least 50% more expensive LOL!
{sigh} I do miss Michaels….
Lovely work Alice.
